David Silverberg, MD

David Silverberg, MD, is a highly trained orthopedic surgeon at Silver State Orthopedics in Las Vegas. Dr. Silverberg has more than 15 years of experience performing shoulder, elbow, joint replacement, and trauma surgery.  Dr. Silverberg is board certified through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Silverberg attended Emory University in Atlanta for his undergraduate education and attended Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia for medical school. Because of his love of sports and his own personal experience with sports injuries, he decided to pursue orthopedics in medical school so he could help others regain their active lifestyles. After medical school, Dr. Silverberg completed his residency in orthopedics at Summa Health Systems in Akron, Ohio. He then completed his fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and his orthopedic trauma fellowship at Baylor University in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Silverberg relocated to Las Vegas in 2004, where he started Silver State Orthopedics and where he serves as co-chief of the orthopedic surgery department and chief of orthopedic trauma at Sunrise Hospital. In his free time, Dr. Silverberg enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, snowboarding, skateboarding, home improvement projects, watching Philadelphia sports teams and yoga.
